Originally from California, Jake studied environmental and marine biology at UC Davis. Shortly after graduating, he switched gears and moved to Alaska to become a bush pilot. After several years up North, he came back to the Lower 48, and has been an airline pilot since 2014.
After bouncing around the country for nearly a decade, Jake fell in love with the Treasure Valley while on work trips: he biked the Greenbelt, floated the river, and hiked some of the most beautiful high desert trails he had ever seen. Jake moved to Boise in 2017, and isn’t looking back. He enjoys flying airplanes, dogs, barbecue, and exploring Idaho’s endless outdoor experiences.
